At Gagne Homestead And Rescue, we are committed to the care, rescue, protection, and re-homing of domestic animals and farm animals in need. Our mission is not only to rescue and rehabilitate animals, but also to educate and engage our community in building a more compassionate world for all pets.

 

Animal Surrender

We understand that sometimes life circumstances change. If you are no longer able to care for your pet, we offer a safe and respectful surrender process. All surrenders are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure we have the resources to provide proper care. Please contact us to learn more about surrender guidelines and availability.

 

Adoption Services

Finding forever homes for our rescued animals is at the heart of what we do. All adoptable pets receive veterinary care, behavioural assessments, and lots of love while they wait for their new families. Visit our Adoption Page for available animals and information on how to apply.

 

Abandoned Animal Pickup

If you come across a stray or abandoned domestic animal or farm animal, we’re here to help. Our team responds to reports of abandoned pets and, when possible, coordinates safe transport to our facility for evaluation and care. Please note that we do have contacts that we can provide for wild life.

School Visits & Educational Outreach

We believe in teaching compassion and responsibility at a young age. Our school visits offer engaging, age-appropriate sessions where students can learn about animal care, safety, and the importance of rescue. These visits can include presentations and safe, supervised animal interactions.

 

Meet & Greets

We love bringing our adoptable pets out into the community! Our meet and greet events give people the chance to connect with animals in a relaxed setting and learn more about our mission. These events are a great way to find the right match—or just share some smiles.
